Tasco® Manufacturing Facilities Now Certified to ISO 22000:2018 and PAS 222

Quality and safety are of utmost importance in manufacturing Tasco®. As such, we are continuously raising our quality and safety standards in order to meet and exceed the expectations of our global customers. Our Tasco® manufacturing facilities recently received ISO 22000:2018 and PAS 222 certification. ISO 22000:2018 is a global food safety standard and applies to every step of the food chain, including animal feed ingredients.

It specifies the requirements for a comprehensive Food Safety Management System (FSMS) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) program. PAS 222 is a pre-requisite program that details Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) specific to the animal feed industry.

  • A globally recognized assurance of product safety
  • Additional verification of the premium quality provided by Tasco®
  • Improved risk management – added confidence in the safety of your animal feed ingredients

Our manufacturing facilities are certified GMP/HACCP through the FeedAssure™ program. FeedAssure™ is a comprehensive feed safety management and certification program developed for the Canadian feed industry through the Animal Nutrition Association of Canada (ANAC). FeedAssure™ is both an assurance of safety controls and a valuable business tool for the animal feed industry.

Our facilities are also certified by the Safe Feed/Safe Food Certification Program administered by the American Feed Industry Association. Becoming Safe Feed/Safe Food-certified means the facility demonstrates and ensures continuous improvements in delivering safe, wholesome livestock feed for the growth and care of animals.
